LEO Pharma is looking for a motivated student assistant, who can actively take part in activities across Global Tax functions and processes.
By joining LEO Pharma Global Tax as a student assistant, you will enter a truly international company headquartered in Ballerup, Denmark, with operations globally. Global Tax is a department within Finance Business Support Services. Global Tax provides the worldwide organization with support in Corporate tax matters and is the main driver in a number of activities within transfer pricing and tax advisory services in the LEO Pharma Group. You will be working in a team consisting of eight dedicated employees, whereof three are located in Ireland. The members of the team are specialist within VAT, Corporate Income Tax and Transfer Pricing.
We are looking for a qualified student assistant who will enjoy supporting the LEO Group by preparing documentation(s) and assist the Global Tax Team with various tax-related tasks. We are looking for a student assistant, who has a flair for and interest in navigating through systems and excel, and who is willing to be challenged both professionally and personally. We expect you to be working 15-20 hours per week corresponding to two full days, and we will be flexible during exam periods.
You will be part of a highly competent and dedicated team that ensures compliance according to legislation and supports LEO line of business and the overall LEO Strategy. Your task is to provide the team with support during key processes including TP documentation, compliance-related VAT reviews and preparations of memos. Furthermore you will help drafting and maintaining intercompany agreements and update the Global Contract Management System. You will also be involved in ad hoc projects working together with the Global Tax team.
The person we are looking for is studying a relevant bachelor or master’s degree within economics and/or law and has 2-3 years left of the studies. We expect you to be passionate, eager to learn, service-minded, engaged by nature, flexible and good at reaching your deadlines. This is a learning position.
Furthermore, you are strong in written and oral English. It is not a requirement that you speak or write Danish, but it is an advantage. Finally, you have user experience with MS Office.
