Drive and build the Business Analyst function in REGION International

You will become part of Region INTERNATIONAL, one of three business critical regions in LEO Pharma. In close collaboration with the with Brand and Portfolio leads you will be responsible for ensuring key Business analysis are in place for LEO Pharma’s Established brands and selected future products marketed in Region International.

You will be responsible for key analysis, data gathering and insights in Region International and at the same time be a sparring partner to key stakeholders across Patient Solution & Scientific Affairs Team, Business Transformation Team and geographies, across the Established & Innovative portfolios.

While working closely together with the markets and key affiliates in Region International you will design centralized data reports, align on common market definitions and facilitate data sharing and use for global and regional portfolios.

Your primary tasks will be to

  • Drive and manage data analysis in Region International with a focus on:
    • Monthly and quarterly reports
    • Ad hoc request for key meetings and business reviews across the Established and Innovative Portfolio
    • Support on selected tasks from Business Transformation (e.g. for Business Development and data/ analysis for Strategic Projects)
  • Align on data gathering process, incl market definitions & applying business rules for analysis and reporting
  • Define, apply and document global & regional business rules and disease adjustments, in collaboration with stakeholders, for brands sold in Region International (for MS and dashboards)
  • Analyze data from markets, be a sparring partner and align on different approaches and bridge differences between markets, regions and global
  • Super user role for OneWay Dashboard for Region International (20-25% of time) in 2020:
    • Interact with global BI and Cluster Super users on OneWay Dashboard support.
    • Change Request: Support Clusters, ensure alignment in descriptions and prioritise from regional perspective
    • Use globally available training materials, prepare regional adaptations as needed and train relevant users

You will report to the Director of Established Portfolios in Region International and be based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Limited travel expected.

The ideal candidate for the role will have a strong analytic mindset, Business Acumen and a good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. You are a team player who enjoys cross functional collaboration and have strong communication skills when interpretation and presenting complex analysis and data. An action-oriented service minded approach and a drive to create visible results is needed in for this role. You have attention to details in all aspect of your work, while translating data and insights in to ‘A Bigger picture’ and provide clear key messages for your stakeholders.

Professional Competencies & Business requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in business administration, finance, pharmaceutical sciences or similar
  • Experience with data sources such as IQVIA (MIDAS, national, subnational data), IMS Analytics Link and GERS
  • Advanced user of Excel with ability to build data model, data cleaning, pivot tables, VBA/macros and other advanced Excel functions
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or other dashboard platforms
  • Experience handling data requests and reporting to support performance tracking and brand strategies
  • Ability to interpret data and transform into insights
  • Familiarity with large datasets and ability to use different data sources
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Business Requirements

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Global/ regional experience
  • Proven track record in global/ regional performance tracking as well as commercial / LCM brand strategy support
