Senior/Principal Technician– advanced analytical chemistry

Advanced analytical chemistry on small molecules

You will immediately take an active, operational role in supporting a variety of internal customers ranging from Research to Production. Here you will get to use your skills within advanced analytical chemistry to their full extent.

In detail you will be expected to:

  • Be an integral part of our dedicated team, bringing your analytical knowledge and experience into play in a cooperative manner
  • Provide the team with strong skills and hands-on experience within various separation techniques and detection principles
  • Be capable of performing analyses, processing data and documenting work using Empower, MassHunter, Microsoft Excel® and ELN and to perform troubleshooting and equipment maintenance on our LC, SFC and GC instruments by yourself
  • Switch between on-going tasks while ensuring execution, collaboration and information sharing
  • Participate in the on-going optimization of our work processes and work instructions and various other administrative tasks


Analytical profile with drive and flexibility

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious technician with an outgoing spirit and a flexible mindset.
To help us succeed in our ambitions, we need you to have a logical and analytical way of thinking, a familiarity with - and flair for - working with various software and a strong desire to communicate, collaborate and make an impact across disciplines.
You have a relevant degree as Laboratory Technician and a proven track record of demonstrating skills within analytical chemistry – most important LC-MS. Experience with the data systems MassHunter and Empower and a background within the pharmaceutical industry, analysing drug substances and drug formulations, is preferred.


Analytical Support – your new team

You will be joining 9 colleagues including a Ph.D. student in the department Analytical Support – 6 scientists and 2 other technicians. Our mission is to impact and support the entire organisation with scientific and analytical expertise within NMR, solid state properties and different separation techniques combined with mass spectrometry. The work atmosphere is open and informal with enthusiastic and dedicated people collaborating in an innovative culture.
