LEO Pharma is looking for an engaged and passionate HR Recruitment Partner to enable our business to grow and transform and play a key role in establishing our future talent acquisition approach.

LEO Pharma has embarked on a growth journey to become the preferred dermatology care partner in the world, dedicated to helping people achieve healthy skin. We have recently introduced our 2025 strategy, which aims to accelerate our efforts in innovative therapeutics while strengthening our established portfolio and our global footprint in medical dermatology.

Dermatology is an area of rapid growth and LEO Pharma is rapidly changing from one that is focused on topical treatments, to being at the forefront of scientific advancements to help patients. To achieve our ambitious goals, we need to attract new capabilities and transform the way we do talent acquisition.


Play a key role in onboarding new talents

In this role, you will work with hiring managers across business areas in Denmark to ensure onboarding of new competences and talents, primarily within Research & Development and IT, but you are expected to work across all areas from time to time. You will work closely with various HR Business Partners to influence the way LEO strengthens and attract capabilities for the future.

In addition, you will work closely with our Global Talent Acquisition team and European People Service team to build and implement talent sourcing capabilities and strengthen the way we work with our employer brand. In 2019 we will launch a new global employer value proposition, take our internal talent sourcing capabilities to the next level and implement Success Factors.

You will report to the Strategic HR Business Partner of Global Finance & Business Services and be based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, near Copenhagen, but work across business areas and with HR colleagues globally.



You are a skilled recruiter with experience from working in an international organisation. Additionally, you have experience with various talent sourcing approaches and advisory. It is an advantage if you have experience from research and development as well as IT and/or the pharmaceutical industry, but this is not a requirement. However, you must have an keen interest in developing insight into our business and have a solid customer focus.


To take on this role successfully, we expect you to bring:


  • University degree and 3+ years of experience with recruitment in a diverse organisation
  • Certification in PAPI is an advantage; alternatively you have worked with other assessment tools
  • Demonstrated success in advising hiring managers at all levels end to end on recruitments and for sourcing strategies
  • Ability to balance challenge and advisory
  • Proven track record of process improvement and talent sourcing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to work effectively with all levels
  • Outgoing and curious as a person, both to seek information and influence
  • Fluent level of English is a must and Danish is an advantage


Global People Business Partnering and your new department

Global People Business Partnering is responsible for HR Business Partnering and advisory throughout our organisation. We are helping LEO Pharma achieve its mission of helping people achieve healthy skin by providing organisational support to LEO leaders across our organisation. 

You will become part of People Business Partnering, Corporate Functions, which is a small dedicated team of HR Business Partners, supporting across corporate functions, primarily in Denmark. However, you will be expected to support and collaborate across People Business Partnering teams. We work as an integrated part of the business and promote a collaborative and dynamic work environment where initiative is valued.
