In Medical Communication you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world. We are looking for a structured person, who embraces IT systems and enjoys both routine tasks, but who also wants to develop new ways of working.

The job requires that you are able to understand and act according to the quite complex and diverse requirements and trends within the pharmaceutical area in general and disclosure of clinical data in particular. • Compliance: providing cross-functional support to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements
  • Data-sharing board: administration of contracts, tracking and planning of meetings
  • Literature: administration of literature reference database and filing of literature references
  • Knowledge-sharing: administration of various knowledge-sharing tools and repositories, including contributing to developing these tools

In addition, you will interact with colleagues in other areas such as medical writers, biostatisticians, regulatory affairs, medical experts, translational scientists, and safety advisors.

Your qualifications

  • Systematic, diligent, proactive, good collaboration skills
  • Able to work in English, both written and spoken, and able to work with other cultures
  • Patient-centric, transparent mind-set with a high ethical standard
  • Willing to work in a highly regulated but also very fast-evolving field. GCP/GxP experience will be an advantage
  • Good at IT systems – fast learner and not afraid to explore new possibilities. Potential systems are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Outlook, LEO’s electronic document management system (Veeva Vault), Sharepoint, MS Office 365, Endnote, Dynamicweb
  • B.Sc, educated nurse, medical secretary or a similar type and level of education. Alternatively, you have experience with similar activities, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. from pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs or scientific affairs).

Your new team

You will be part of Medical Communication; a skilled and engaged team of 13 medical writers, a disclosure specialist, you, and a manager. The position is newly established and comprises tasks previously done by several other functions plus a set of new tasks. This means that you will be able to influence the shaping of the job. We will of course support you in getting up to speed with the area and the role.
