Senior Pharmacovigilance Physician/Advisor for Global Pharmacovigilance

We are looking for an experienced PV Physician/Advisor for the PV Science department in Global Pharmacovigilance to become part of a growing team working with systemic treatments for atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. You will primarily be working with the human monoclonal antibody tralokinumab which is currently in development for treatment of atopic dermatitis.

Job description

You will become part of a team which currently consists of 4 PV Advisors who perform both clinical/development and post-marketing activities.

As a Senior PV Physician/PV Advisor you are globally responsible for effective safety risk management processes for your assigned product(s) with main tasks being:

  • Signal detection and management
  • Participation in clinical trial teams providing safety input to clinical development discussions and documents, e.g. trial protocols and Investigator’s Brochure
  • Preparation of PV input to various regulatory documents
  • Preparation of aggregated safety reports and RMPs
  • Medical assessment of reported adverse events both from spontaneous and clinical trial sources


We are looking for a new colleague who has:

  • An education as MD, pharmacist or equivalent
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience from working in cross functional teams
  • An analytical mindset and an eye for detail
  • Good and strong written and verbal English skills
  • A proactive and open-minded approach

You will collaborate closely with colleagues both within Global Pharmacovigilance and in the rest of LEO Pharma.

Since the job involves multiple tasks with fixed deadlines ongoing at the same time, the ability to focus, stay calm and work independently as well as in teams, is a necessity.
