Senior Manager Quality – new established audit team

Positive people management and strategic development of the Quality setup

Based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen your overall focus is to take LEO Pharma’s auditing to the next level – in close collaboration with the Senior Manager of your sister team and the Director of External and Support Quality to whom you report. As you will head a newly established team of 9 very experienced and competent Quality Professionals you will succeed by enabling your team to shine and be the best they can be. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Lead, inspire, coach and develop 9 experienced quality professionals
  • Establish and implement global procedures related to auditing and associated processes
  • Ensure relevant processes are in compliance with new legislation and follow industry standards
  • Manage relevant Quality KPI reporting and ensure follow-up reporting 
  • Ensure Quality partnering with various internal stakeholders
  • Ensure proactive collaboration with key stakeholders in LEO Pharma Global Patient Supply regarding internal audits
  • Support the business at Regulatory inspections and partner audits 
  • Contribute to the further development and optimisation of the new Quality setup

You are also part of LEO Pharma’s leadership team for Global Quality counting approx. 35 international Managers. This is a forum for knowledge sharing and building of best practises across the global organisation and right now we have extra focus on building leadership capabilities.

Leadership profile with solid GXP knowledge

You have a Master’s degree and at least 10 years’ experience from working with quality in a GXP regulated work environment, preferably in the pharma industry. This has provided you with a good business understanding and the ability to discuss quality related matters across the entire LEO Organisation. Additionally, you can assess the state of current business and Quality operations to identify and recommend improvements, and you can create and implement action plans to make it come through.

You have tested yourself as people manager with good results, and you have a loaded leadership toolbox of how to make a team perform – including individual and team coaching with due respect to different personalities. You simply love to see your team shine and you can generate a common will to win as a team. Across your tasks your will need all of your good communications skills including your ability to adjust your messages to fit the audience at hand. Additionally, you must have strong English skills, in speech and writing.

Global Quality Audits – your new department

You will head “Global Quality Audits” that is one of two departments in the function “External & Support Quality”. Your department is new just as the concept of a department fully dedicated to auditing is new to LEO Pharma.

Your department is responsible for internal and external audits including audit programs and related tasks like risk assessment and re-evaluation of suppliers, QMR, process optimisation, project support and support at inspections.
