Business Controller to Customer Order Management (COM) with focus on finance processes – temporary 12 month cover

About Customer Order Management

COM are responsible for LEO Pharma’s global distribution of finished goods and raw materials. All global order management and distribution processes towards our customers, affiliates and partners are driven by COM, which leads to an extensive and exciting variation of tasks for the department. Our department consists of 22 skilled and committed colleagues organized into two teams: Affiliate Sales and Direct Sales.

The job

We look for a highly engaged and committed business controller for a temporary 12 month cover for a newly established sub-team within the Affiliate Sales team. You will be a key player in supervising, maintaining and developing our sales and inventory processes in close co-operation with the other team members and a range of stakeholders – primarily 3PL’s and other partners besides corporate departments in particular Finance and Tax. You will work in an international, dynamic environment, in which the challenge is to be flexible and agile in a standardized way.

Your tasks will include:

  • Daily monitoring of global order-to-cash (OTC) processes between 3PL and LEO affiliates
  • Error handling based of ‘error log’ on EDI -transactions related to OTC activities
  • Supervising, coordinating and performing inventory reconciliation at our 3PL’s globally incl. all types of inventory management transactions (shelf life management, blocked stock, scrap etc.)
  • Assist department management with documentation for internal and external financial audits
  • Contribute to our LEAN culture by driving continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives

Your qualifications and profile

As a minimum you have an accounting, academic or AP degree (bachelor level) ideally combined with experience from a supply chain function in a larger company that has given you a good end-to-end comprehension of a supply chain.

You have a strong personal commitment and sense of responsibility. If you worked in the pharmaceutical industry or another GxP regulated industry, this could be to your advantage.

Furthermore, you

  • Work in a highly structured and focused way with respect for deadlines and details
  • Have very good communication and language skills (in both Danish and English)
  • Are a good and supportive team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Have good IT skills, hereunder experienced in SAP ECC module, Idoc etc.
  • Have a good understanding of the financial processes linked to logistic processes
