Head of CRA's – Region Europe

Do you want impact and influence across LEO Pharma’s Global Clinical Operations

If you bring hands-on CRA experience backed by solid leadership skills within remote management as well as an open-minded and positive mindset, we have just the right job for you. You will join a very successful company, dedicated towards fulfilling the vision of becoming the world’s preferred dermatology care partner. In collaboration with 7 other Heads of CRA’s globally you will ensure a steady operation across our rapidly growing pipeline of clinical trials. You can look forward to a job with significant influence and impact in an environment characterised by mutual trust, collaboration, helpfulness and common drive for success.

Ensure high data quality and deliver appreciative leadership from a distance

As Head of CRA’s you have two main objectives. One is to ensure high quality across the many trials conducted by your team in Region Europe. The other is to add our special ingredient “the LEO touch” in order to establish and maintain long-lasting and mutual beneficial relations to our partners/trial sites. You will be working out of LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Head a team of approx. 15 CRA’s across region Europe
  • Be part of the leadership team in Trial Execution and contribute to setting the overall direction for the organization
  • Ensure site recruitment aligned with recruitment targets
  • Ensure high quality results and correct data within clinical trials across Europe
  • On-board new employees and train them to deliver the special “LEO touch”
  • Coach and guide employees to handle obstacles related to their trials
  • Keep the total portfolio overview and allocate resources to ensure maximum efficiency

As we are expanding our team considerably, one of your most important tasks will be to on-board and train new team members. Equally important is your collaboration with the other heads of CRA’s globally and the heads of Trial Management in our headquarter. Your collaboration must be based on transparency, trust, and the will to achieve common goals. You can look forward to travel 50 days per year to support your staff and meet colleagues and partners.

Self propelled motivator with CRA and leadership experience

You have a health care related education as Nurse or similar. Your previous career has provided you with solid hands-on experience as CRA, and coupled to this you have as minimum two years’ CRA leadership experience including remote leadership. As such, you know how to inspire and motivate via telephone and video calls, and you can do it in an appreciative way. Additionally, you can coach and guide your employees to overcome obstacles and keep a positive belief in succeeding. Personally, you are extremely good at building positive relations and able to pass this valuable skill on to your team.

You thrive in an environment of trust and you are not afraid to make decisions, bring your ideas to the table or asking for input from your colleagues in the leadership team, when you face an unusual tough challenge.
