High quality clinical trials within agreed time and cost

As Head of Trial Management you will head one of two sister teams counting 10-15 Clinical Project Managers/Trial Managers, based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Your overall objective is to ensure high quality clinical trials delivered within agreed time and cost. Your primary tasks will be 

  • Head a team of 10-15 Clinical Project Managers/Trial Managers
  • Ensure high quality clinical trials within agreed time and cost
  • Keep the total portfolio overview and allocate resources to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Build and nurture a team culture of mutual trust, cooperation and common drive for results
  • Coach, guide and develop your CPM’s in a positive and inspiring way
  • Be part of the leadership team in Trial Execution and contribute to setting the overall direction for the organization
  • Ensure on-going knowledge sharing and cooperation with your sister 

You can look forward to travel 15-20 days per year to meet colleagues and partners. 

 

Experienced Trial Manager with solid leadership skills

You have a life science degree like Pharmacist or similar. This is backed by solid experience within clinical development including direct clinical trial management experience. This has provided you with a strong knowledge base of the clinical development process including trial procedures at clinical sites, clinical monitoring functions, drug safety, data flow to data management, reporting and relevant regulatory 

You have solid experience as people manager and you are known for your open-minded and positive leadership style. Even though you thrive on setting the direction and taking the lead, nothing motivates you like making your people shine and be their best. Additionally, you have the toolbox to build, motivate and inspire high performance teams with a common drive for success. In this you take benefit from your excellent communication skills that enable you to bring your messages across in an easy understandable way, written as spoken.

As part of a rapidly growing organisation you must also thrive in an environment of change and be able to navigate safely without having manuals and updated SOP’s for each and every process.

 

About Trial Execution – your new department

Trial Execution is a global function within Global Clinical Operations, responsible for the conduct of all clinical trials in LEO Pharma outside China and Japan. We are organised in two trial management departments and currently 7 Site Management departments. We are represented in 14 countries across Europe, North America, and Oceania.
