Business Integration Manager, Finance

Now you have the opportunity to take a lead role in this change journey by joining the Business Process Integration team.

Drive and manage process improvement initiatives

As Business Integration Manager for the Finance and Accounting processes you will be part of the Finance & Accounting team within Business Process Integration, and you will be responsible for driving and managing the business process integration within projects on LEOs SAP roadmap. You will be process lead for Finance and Accounting processes covering but not limited to RtR, and in bigger projects you will also be acting as team lead for a team of process and business SMEs (Subject Matter Experts). Together with the project team and in close collaboration with your colleagues in Business Process Integration as well as Line of Business you will focus on business needs, optimized business processes and use of standard solutions. The primary tasks for the Business Process Integration team are:

  • Driving process improvement initiatives from identification to implementation
  • Managing the change request portfolio
  • Managing business initiatives and scope of projects
  • Planning and facilitating stakeholder workshops
  • Analyzing and designing business processes
  • Supporting continued roll-out of SAP in our global organisation
  • Driving simplicity and standardisation via knowledge sharing and creation of cross-organisational best practises

And within projects you will be responsible for

  • The Finance and Accounting business processes
  • Support the project manager in planning and managing the project with specific focus on the Finance and Accounting SME resources
  • In cooperation with LoB ensure the needed SME resources are available 
  • Managing dependencies, risks and issues
  • Reviewing the Functional Designs
  • Solution signoff from LoB process owners
  • Ensuring end to end processes involved are fit for purpose and documented
  • Assuring all test cases and test scripts cover the requirements within Finance and Accounting

Solid experience within process optimisation

You have a university degree at masters level and a solid experience within the Finance and Accounting area. You have minimum 4 years of experience working with process optimisation, e.g. from a similar position in a large international company and/or from a management consulting company. Experience with project management and system implementation will be an advantage. You have competencies within business process management tools and methodologies. Preferably you have a LEAN/Six Sigma certification. In addition, you must bring best-practise knowledge of how to implement effective global processes (preferable using SAP).

Your experience and business understanding enables you to analyze business requirements and challenge both requirements and solutions. You understand how to combine business processes optimization and process governance to create business value. You are motivated by driving change and creating results, and you have the ability to handle complex issues and convert them into executable solution-oriented business process designs. You act proactively and take full responsibility for your tasks and you have the communication and collaboration skills required to navigate safely among multiple stakeholders and on many levels of the organization.

The Finance and Accounting team you will be joining, is part of Business Process Integration which is one of four strategic entities in the newly established SAP Business Integration function reporting to the CIO. The vision of the function is to enable strategic Line of Business transformations via process optimisation and standard SAP technology. We have a strong focus on business development and qualification of IT demands from the business as well as benefit realization by anchoring and continuously improving the SAP solutions in the business of LEO Pharma.
