Establish and optimize Pricing Strategies across four continents

You will become part of Region INTERNATIONAL, one of three business critical regions in LEO Pharma. The region is growing fast and is very diverse, covering our affiliates in Asia, the Middle East, Gulf, Africa, Russia and Asia. You will report into the newly established Established Portfolio department, working closely with the Director and 4 Marketing colleagues.

We have set ambitious goals for the region towards 2025. In order to achieve these, it is vital that we not only ensure that our business is profitable, but also that we create access to our treatments, as many of our patients are in an out-of-pocket situation. You will play a key role in achieving optimal market access in our markets by leading pricing activities and developing strategies that maximize value for LEO Pharma.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Establish and optimize regional pricing strategies in close collaboration with the Global Pricing team and other relevant stakeholders.  
  • Ensure visibility of prices and pricing strategies and  
  • Ensure adherence to LEO pricing governance, related processes and price documentation across the region to ensure value protection and optimization with regards to International Reference Pricing again in close collaboration with the Global Pricing team.  
  • Co-develop a process and a tool  where tenders can be reported and assessed against pricing strategy.  
  • Develop and launch regional market access strategies for portfolios anchored in Region International, as well as monitor events impacting intellectual property rights.  
  • Support and coordinate Public Affairs activities across the region (until a new position is created)

You will report to the Director Established Portfolios, and be based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. You can expect to travel ca. 40 days a year in order to meet with colleagues and partners across the region.


Pricing specialist with a flair for market access collaborations

You have several years of experience from role(s) in commercial operations or pricing and market access. Your business acumen and your way of working is founded on a sound analytical and commercial focus, and you are always aiming to facilitate a strong link between local markets and global functions. As your responsibilities are broad and your stakeholders many, you can keep the grand overview and address multiple issues, deadlines and interests at the same time, via stakeholder collaborations and influence.

Other requirements:

  • MSc in Business administration or similar – alternatively a Science Degree combined with an MBA or relevant commercial experience.
  • Project management experience
  • Finance projects or change management experience
  • Pricing/Market Access experience
  • Fluency in English (business/ negotiation level)

You have a well-developed cultural flair, and are seasoned in building and maintaining productive partnerships across borders and functions. You transmit your personal enthusiasm to people around you to ensure deliveries according to plans and deadlines. To succeed it is vital that you take on responsibility and follow-through on your projects with passion and ambition. As your stakeholders are all working in different time zones you understand that the best time to meet is not always 9-5.
