Junior Production Site Controller

We are expanding our Product Costing & Production Controlling area with a junior site controller for an interim period of minimum 24 months. Based at our Ballerup site you will play a key role in establishing transparency in our production financials creating financial data, analysis and reports with focus on production variances and our standard cost price maintenance.

You will arrive at the maybe most exciting period of time in LEO’s history. Founded on a new ambitious strategy we have embarked on a voyage to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner. Everywhere you turn ground-breaking projects are taking place and establishing insight in our Financial Production Performance to optimize efficiency is a very important one of those.

If your interests combines production economics in a manufacturing environment and the opportunity to learn the SAP ERP system in a Global company, this is it.

Analyses, reporting, controlling, budgeting, development…

Your overall focus is to bring transparency into the production costs at our Ballerup site – and as part of this you will contribute to increasing production efficiency across LEO’s international production sites (Global Product Supply, GPS) in Denmark, Ireland and France. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Handle the month end financial production reporting and controlling – variance analysis and destructions
  • Analyse production performance in order to improve unit costs of LEO Pharma products
  • Prepare and maintain local and global cost prices for GPS – daily plus full yearly costing run
  • Support the Finance Business Partner in preparing budgets and estimates – OPEX, cost price simulations as part of the quarterly forecasting cycle
  • Contribute to process optimizing and streamlining

In order to give you the best possible foundation for becoming a success we have planned an introduction programme where we will learn you about our financial setup in the SAP ERP system.

Your background

You have a Diploma/Degree in accounting management or equivalent (HA/HD/cand.merc/polit). You are either recently graduated from CBS/University or have 1-2 years’ experience from a manufacturing company. You have an interest in production economics and supply chain management.

On the personal level, you have pioneering spirit and you are not afraid of creating results in an environment where many of the necessary processes and systems need to be developed by you and your team colleagues. This also calls for your team spirit, cooperation skills and your ability to prioritise and get things done without getting lost in perfection of every tiny detail. As you will interact closely with colleagues in the production you must also be able to build strong relations to people with professional backgrounds that differs a lot from your own.

Your new team

You will join a well-functioning team of five with two based in Denmark, two in Ireland (Dublin and Cork) and one in France. We work in an informal atmosphere characterised by openness and helpfulness. The management style is Scandinavian meaning that your input and ideas are highly valued and appreciated – actually we expect you to come forward and challenge us. Our ambition is to gradually increase cross-country knowledge sharing and cooperation, and you will be an important contributor to making this come true.
