Finance BI Consultant – strong customer focus and project management experience

Do you want impact, influence and challenges with a global perspective?

If you have an economically founded Master’s degree and some years’ experience in the cross field of finance and BI in SAP, you now have the opportunity for a very exciting job. You will join a successful, international company in the maybe most interesting period of time in the company’s history. We embarked on an extremely ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner by 2020 – and our current global implementation of SAP will be a very important component in succeeding with you as a vital contributor.

Change agent with finance and BI focus

As Finance BI Consultant you will be part of the Financial Management Information (FMI) team and play a key role in supporting the on-going business as well as further development of the future Financial Management Information reporting landscape. You will become the link between Global Finance and IT/Centre of Excellence (CoE). You will uncover Finance BI and data needs in Commercial, R&D, Global Product Supply and Global Support and convert those into requirement specifications for your colleagues in FMI/IT that will handle the technical development in SAP BI. Additionally, you will project manage progress in the development and implementation of the improvements, new features etc. ensuring that deadlines and customer needs are meet.

In overview, your primary tasks will be to:

  • Uncover Finance BI and data needs in various business units – as facilitator & Project Manager
  • Transform business needs into requirement specifications for FMI/IT
  • Project manage progress and execution of SAP BI projects
  • Train colleagues in interpreting and using data and related tools
  • Optimise utilisation of our BI tools box through deep customer, business, data and process understanding
  • Perform root cause analyses – with a business perspective, not IT technically
  • Coordinate status reporting with stakeholders in CoE, IT, FMI & Line of Business (LoB)

A vital part of your work will be to align your projects with cross-organisational processes defined in our Centre of Excellence.

Economical degree and +5 years finance experience within SAP BI

You have a Master’s degree in economics backed by at least 5 years’ experience from working with finance and SAP in a large organisational setting. As such, you are an experienced SAP user and have a strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects, SAP Analysis for Excel, SAP BPC and/or other BI tools within the SAP BI platform. Additionally, you have project management experience and the stakeholder management skills needed to succeed in a complex organisational landscape with many agendas.

With your business acumen you can understand the value chain in the total business as well as in multiple business units. You will need customer focus and customer understanding including the ability to help business units turn (sometimes vague) ideas into tangible requirement specifications. You must have a strong drive for results and the persistency needed to apply changes to well established processes. This also takes strong communication skills. As part of this you must thrive on working in an environment where many processes and tools are not yet developed – we lay the road as we drive it. Finally, you must able to influence without having the formal power and be a team player – we can only succeed as a team.

Your new team

You will join 6 highly engaged employees in the FMI team in the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Here you will help creating a cutting edge BI reporting environment characterised by business excellence, clever cross-organisational standardisation and uncompromising customer focus. We share a drive for creating results, and we believe that trust and freedom to perform is key to succeed – just as making room for having a good time together.

We look forward to receiving your application.
